Application and Deadline

Applications for 2027-2028 are now open! You can register for Dutch Classical Talent via the online application form.

The registration deadline is Wednesday the 30th of September 2026, at 18:00 (6:00 PM).

Target Audience

Dutch Classical Talent is focussed on young musicians (instrumentalists and vocalists) who can create and perform a professional, engaging, and appealing chamber music program, both musically and technically.

What Can You Win?

Through auditions, a professional jury selects four finalists who will participate in a coaching program and develop a recital program of 60 minutes. With this program, the finalists will do a tour of fifteen concerts in renowned concert halls in The Netherlands. The program comes to an end with an exciting final in which the four finalists compete for the DCT Award of €10,000 and the audience prize in Hertz, TivoliVredenburg.

Monday October 19, 2026 + Tuesday October 20, 2026

Second round of auditions at TivoliVredenburg
Monday November 2, 2026

Application Procedure

A complete application file consists of the following components:

  1. Online application form: Including a 60-minute program proposal for the DCT tour, your audition selection, a motivational statement, and a biography.
  2. Digital photograph: One digital photo per musician or ensemble, to be submitted via email.
  3. Letter of recommendation: Signed, including approval of the proposed tour program, to be submitted via email.
  4. Signed regulations: To be submitted via email.
  5. Signed declaration: A scan of the following page, dated and signed, to be submitted via email.
