You can no longer register to audition for the 2024-2025 season. In may 2024 the application for the programme in 2025-2026 will open up.
Dutch Classical Talent is looking for the new generation of chamber music musicians who can present artistically attractive and interesting chamber music programs for a wide audience in the best possible way.
The candidates must not be older than 28 years at the time of the auditions, with the exception of vocalists. For vocalists, the upper limit is set at 30 years. The average age of the members of ensembles may not exceed 28 years.
You can register as a soloist or ensemble. A soloist is understood to mean: an instrumentalist who can perform an entire recital program without accompaniment. Vocalists can register as a soloist with an accompanist (accompanist’s age not higher than 40 years), provided that the singer clearly presents himself as a soloist in the program. A program with song repertoire falls under duo. Ensemble is understood to mean: an instrumentalist or vocalist with ‘accompaniment’ (duo) or a larger ensemble with a maximum of six members.
Candidates must be in training at a conservatory in the second phase (Master) of music in a performing specialization/direction (or similar), or have already obtained their Master’s degree at a Dutch or foreign conservatory.
Candidates with a foreign nationality must have studied for at least two years at a Dutch conservatory in a performing specialization or specialization or have already obtained their Master’s degree at a Dutch conservatory. For ensembles, at least half of the members of the ensemble must meet this condition.
